| Opening Times |
We are normally staffed Mon - Fri: 9.00 - 17.00 which is when the library offers the full range of services and is also accessible to visitors.
When the library is not staffed 24/7 access is via BWH Trust ID card for reference and computer use only. |
| Access Policy |
All BWH Trust staff (including locums, secondments and volunteers) are entitled to join the library.
All students whilst on placement at BWH are entitled to join the library.
Anyone who is a BWH Foundation Trust Member is entitled to join the library.
All members of the BASE Library consortium are entitled to use the library and borrow stock using their BASE Library card.
Other eligible NHS staff may apply to join the library for a fee.
Patients/Carers should visit the Patient Advice and Information Centre (located on the ground floor) as it has information specifically aimed at patients/carers. The library is available to Patients/Carers where more detailed/in depth information is required, please ask staff at the library counter for help in finding relevant resources. |
